ISO 45001 provides a framework for organizations to develop and implement an occupational health and safety management system (OHSMS). An effective management system includes core interrelated elements that provide a systematic approach to identify, assess and mitigate organizational risks. An effective OHSMS will provide a platform for worker engagement and continual performance improvement.  This session will provide an overview of the ISO 45001 elements and assist participants with a strategy for implementation.

We’ll cover:

  1. The definition of a Management system
  2. The development and value of the ISO 45001 Standards
  3. The Framework of ISO45001 (plan, ,do, check, act cycle)
  4. A implementation strategy
