After all these years, you might think we have learned enough to keep our profession and companies at the leading edge. However, when will we learn. Let’s sit down and have an honest discussion around things we ought to know and do to enhance safety. Examples of the topics covered will be compliance, lost time awards, our negativity, safety culture and more. This session is designed to make you think and hopefully act.

About the Speaker

James “Skipper” Kendrick, CSP, CIT, FASSP     

President of Kendrick Global Enterprises, LLC.  He was named by Occupational Hazards magazine as one of the most influential safety leaders and as a member of Industrial Safety and Hygiene News Power 101. James Kendrick, CSP has vast experience in the disciplines of management, safety, education and training. Skipper is President of Kendrick Global Enterprises, LLC, founded with the mission of helping organizations achieve continual improvement through utilization of solid principles, processes and systems.

Prior to forming KGE, Skipper was Global Director of EHS Training for Textron serving 45,000 employees in 180 facilities worldwide. He also served as Manager, Industrial Safety & Hygiene for Bell Helicopter, a world leader in helicopter and tiltrotor technology.  He is a Professional Member of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP), a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and a Certified Instructional Trainer (CIT).

Skipper is the recipient of ASSP’s highest award , that of Society Fellow (FASSP) as well as Safety Professional of the Year Award at the Society, Regional and Chapter levels. Further recognition includes that of being named National Safety Trainer of the Year.
