October Networking Tour – De Young Museum Behind-The-Scene Tour with Al Barna

De Young Museum, located in Golden Gate Park, is one of the preeminent fine arts museum in San Francisco. It is a state-of-the -art facility that integrates art, architecture, and natural landscape in one multi-faceted public space that inspire audiences from around the world. We are very fortunate to get an opportunity to go on a behind-the-scene tour of this incredible space  with Al Barna, the Occupational Health and Safety Officer at the De Young.

Al has been the Occupational, Health and Safety Officer at the De Young since 1992. In addition to his position at the De Young Museum, he is also a renown fine arts photographer who has shown his work at the de Young as well. He is also the co-author of the SF Neon Book about preservations of Neon signs in San Francisco.

After the tour, we’ll be stopping by the award-winning craft brewery, Social Kitchen and Brewery, for cold one. Located just a few blocks away from the De Young, this brewery is known for its brew and contemporary comfort food.

Come join the ASSP-SF Chapter for a tour of this famous San Francisco institution. We look forward to grabbing a cold one after to get to know you better.

Please wear close toe, close heel shoes are required for this tour.
