Please join us at our annual ASSP & PASMA Technical Meeting. 

ASSP Greater SJ Chapter Co-Delegate, Patrick Hinds, will share his knowledge and expertise on Control of Hazardous Energy Release AKA Lockout/Tagout.

Overview: Any time an employee or contractor employee performs any installation, service, or maintenance where the unexpected activation, start up, or release of stored energy could represent any risk to any employee or equipment, all protective measures must be taken to isolate all sources of hazardous energy.

Presenter Bio: Patrick Hinds is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and member of ASSP (ASSE) since 1993. He is current co-Delegate of the ASSP Greater San Jose Chapter and has severed on the Chapter for several years. He has more than 30+ years experience in developing and implementing comprehensive loss control and safety engineering services for a large variety of organizations including Seattle City Light, Washington Group International (URS), EarthTech (AECOM), Perter Kiewit & Sons, and many smaller similar organizations. Patrick’s background in various industries from Nuclear Power generation facilities, above and below ground construction, many types of demolition services, and various types of electrical production/distribution has given him a unique prospective on employer/employee safety.
