We had our first technical meeting of the year on September 19th at Trader Vic’s in Emeryville. Our speaker was Clyde Trombettas from Cal-OSHA’s Process Safety Management (PSM) Unit. We had a discussion about the use of PSM Standard’s Recognized And Generally Accepted Good Engineering Practices (RAGAGEP) requirements in the State of California.
Our kick off summer planning meeting went very well! Members of the new executive board met in mid-July to start planning the 2018-2019 chapter year. We kicked off the summer by holding a BBQ at the Balena Bay Yacht Club in Alameda. We also presented Past-President of the SF Chapter, David Paoletta, with an appreciation plaque from ASSP society. His name was also added to the President Award Service and Leadership plaque for the SF Chapter. Congrats David, and on behalf of the SF Chapter, thank you very much for your service!
