Job Summary
Ergonomicworks is seeking dedicated, certified Ergonomic Consultants to perform high-quality, in-person ergonomic assessments in office and warehouse environments. We are looking for professionals with excellent attention to detail who can deliver technical, high-standard reports within a fast-paced timeline. This position begins as a part-time contract opportunity with the potential to transition into a full-time role based on performance.
Specific Locations & Residency Requirement
We are currently hiring for the following locations. Applicants must live within 10 miles of their chosen location. As this is a fixed-rate position, travel and mileage are not reimbursed separately.
- Sacramento, CA (and surrounding 10-mile radius)
- Mather, CA (and surrounding 10-mile radius)
- Los Angeles, CA (and surrounding 10-mile radius)
- Glendale, CA (and surrounding 10-mile radius)
- San Luis Obispo, CA (and surrounding 10-mile radius)
- Fresno, CA (and surrounding 10-mile radius)
- Oakland and Bay Area, CA (and surrounding 10-mile radius)
Key Responsibilities & Strict Timelines
Scheduling: Contact the assigned employee to begin scheduling within 48 hours of assignment.
On-Site Execution: Complete the on-site evaluation within five (5) business days of the assignment.
Internal Review: Submit the draft report to Ergonomicworks for internal review no later than four (4) days after the visit.
Technical Reporting: Write professional, high-quality reports using the Ergonomicworks template, including technical measurements and “Before and After” photography.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Certification: CEA (Certified Ergonomic Associate) is highly preferred. (CPE, CAE, or COEE also accepted).
Experience: 2 to 3 years of practical experience conducting in-person evaluations.
Language & Writing: Full English proficiency with the ability to write clear, professional, and grammatically correct technical reports.
Reliability: Must have reliable transportation and a proven track record of being strictly on time for appointments.
Attention to Detail: Excellent observational skills to identify subtle ergonomic risks and provide precise recommendations.
Compensation
Fixed Price Per Evaluation: This flat fee covers the evaluation, the report, and all travel. No additional travel reimbursement is provided.
