Safety Dynamics Group, Inc. (SDG) is a Long Beach-based safety consulting, staffing, and training firm with 45+ years in business. We have recurring client work in the Bay Area and are looking for local, part-time safety professionals to support it.
Typical assignments:
- Twice-monthly or weekly jobsite safety inspections with a written report (usually a half day per visit)
- Toolbox talks and short on-site trainings
- Mock OSHA / Cal/OSHA inspections and program reviews
- Short-term site safety supervision to cover gaps
Current needs are in San Rafael and the South Bay/Peninsula (Palo Alto/Campbell), with more Bay Area projects in the pipeline.
What we’re looking for:
- OSHA 30 Construction at minimum; CHST, STS, OHST, or CSP a plus
- 3+ years of hands-on construction or industrial safety experience, including large commercial projects (concrete, PT decks, wood framing, tenant improvement)
- Comfortable walking a site with a superintendent, attending sub meetings, and writing a clear, photo-backed report
- Based in the Bay Area with reliable transportation
Pay is hourly or flat per visit depending on the assignment, paid W-2. $50-$75/hr
